Its success led to a sequel, Outlast 2, released in 2017. The original Outlast was a PlayStation 4 exclusive released in 2013. It arrived as part of the Gamescom Opening Night Live streaming event by Geoff Keighley. Outlast Trials, the third entry in the bloody first-person survival horror game from the team at Red Barrels, revealed its first gameplay trailer on Wednesday.
